What is your Return Policy?

At Motion Outfitters, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
  • If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@motionoutfitters.com and we’ll look into it immediately.

6. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

Product Description

The TARRAN L1s Superior takes TARRAN's longtail cargo platform and adds its most advanced drivetrain, parking, rider-adjustment, and safety technologies.

Designed for family transportation, commuting, shopping, and high-capacity everyday use, the L1s combines a 100 Nm mid-drive motor, 693 Wh removable battery, automatic stepless transmission, Gates belt drive, electric kickstand, electric dropper post, and TARRAN's integrated Vision technology.

The result is a premium cargo e-bike designed to make carrying passengers and cargo more convenient without sacrificing ride technology or everyday usability.

Powerful 100 Nm Mid-Drive System

The L1s uses TARRAN's 100 Nm mid-drive motor, providing strong assistance when accelerating, climbing hills, or riding with passengers and cargo.

For the U.S. configuration, pedal assistance operates up to 20 mph.

Power comes from a 693 Wh removable battery, which can be charged either on or off the bike.

Enviolo AUTOMATIQ Pro Automatic Shifting

Instead of a conventional derailleur, the L1s features an Enviolo AUTOMATIQ Pro automatic stepless transmission.

Rather than manually selecting individual gears, the rider chooses a preferred pedaling cadence and the system automatically adjusts the transmission ratio while riding. TARRAN allows the preferred cadence to be adjusted through the display.

This provides a particularly convenient riding experience when dealing with frequent stops, changing terrain, or cargo loads.

Gates CDX Belt Drive

The automatic transmission is paired with a Gates CDX belt drive, replacing the conventional chain used on the L1m.

The belt-drive system provides a clean, low-maintenance drivetrain well suited to frequent transportation use.

TRP Hydraulic 4-Piston Brakes

The L1s is equipped with TRP hydraulic 4-piston brakes to provide strong, controlled braking for the bike's cargo-carrying capabilities.

TarranOS 5.2" Touchscreen

The centrally mounted 5.2-inch TarranOS TFT touchscreen serves as the L1s's primary information and control interface.

TARRAN App integration provides connected functions including Remote Lock/Unlock, Find My Bike, Mark as Lost, Ride History, and OTA firmware updates.

Vision Unit: Rear-View Camera & Radar

The L1s includes TARRAN's advanced rear-view camera and radar system, providing additional information about activity behind the bike.

Together with the integrated display, lighting and rear turn signals, the system adds another layer of awareness for everyday riding.

Automatic SyncStand

Loading children or cargo onto a longtail bike requires stability. The L1s addresses this with TARRAN's electric SyncStand, which can automatically move between its deployed and retracted positions using the bike's electronic controls.

This is especially useful when transitioning between riding and loading or unloading the bike.

Electric Dropper Post

The electric dropper post allows saddle height to be adjusted electronically from the bike's controls.

Combined with TARRAN's RiderFit adjustable handlepost, this makes it easier to configure the L1s for riders of different heights.

RiderFit Adjustability

The L1 platform is designed to accommodate riders approximately 5'1"–6'5" (155–195 cm).

The adjustable handlepost and handlebar system allows the cockpit position to be adapted to the rider, making the bike particularly useful in households where more than one person may ride it.

The L1s combines its technology package with substantial passenger and cargo capacity.

Options include seating and passenger accessories, cargo bags, panniers, racks, guardrails, battery and charging equipment, and other L1-compatible accessories.
